Pretty bad injury from what looked like an innocent play. See Wiretap. His knee just gave out.

All of NO's remaining 10 games are vs teams in or gunning for the playoffs.
8 of those games are vs +.500 teams

Suns are 1-1 right now, so if they get the tie break, they also are 3-1 vs the Rockets.

This is gonna be a mad finish til the end. Forget about catching Memphis, they're playing with so much heart and frankly deserve to get in. I don't wish an injury on any team, but GOD wants the Suns to play in the playoffs!

i've said all along that memphis will get the 7th seed.

NO is as good as out, IMO. It's us and Houston. If we lose the battle to Houston, we're pathetic. Tonights game is our last chance at gaining ground before it's too late.

It's official:

"David West will miss the rest of the season and the playoffs with a torn ACL."

What a nice pick up that turned out to be. Landry always seems to scorch us too.

Man, West was looking like the #1 or #2 Free Agent PF. He will probably opt in with NO now, and wind up with an extension some time next yr. It would be pretty risky to sign him for a 3-4 yr deal without some playing time proof of recovery. Oh well, I had put aside our chances to get him anyway.
What ? Me Worry ?
