Dwight Howard Or Derrick Rose?

Since the MVP race seems to be locked up in Derrick Rose's favor I have one simple question.
Who would you rather have on your team? And why?

Not that this has anything to do with MVP stuff, but I'd take Howard fairly easily, and so would anyone else with half a brain.

If Rose was scoring a bit more efficient offensively this would actually be worth thinking about. Just looking at Howard this season:

#11 in scoring
#2 in rebounding
#2 in FG%
#2 in shot blocking
#1 in fouls drawn

No way you can pass up a player like that. Unless LBJ is on the other end of the stick.

with respect to snaq.. i must not even have half a brain.. but i would go with d rose. i like exciting, flashy, hard working players. hes the most or one of the most exciting players in the league. he added the 3, and dishes well. just because he's not a big doesnt mean he shouldnt be chosen over d12. and at the end of games, d rose is money. i wouldnt want to trust my season on d12 shooting free throws..

Shaq couldn't hit FT's as well and we won 3 titles. We did have Kobe though...

Picking Howard is such a cop out. We have a center. And his name is Andrew Bynum. He is finally healthy. He is at least beasting.

A little trust and loyalty go along way, fellow Laker fans. The position of need today and moving forward into the future isn't at the center, but at the PG spot.

Rose isn't just someone we can slot at the 1 without hesitation today, but someone who the team can build around post-Kobe with similar leadership and scoring attributes. He's also younger with room in is game to grow. This isn't even a question.
