Sounds like Carlos Silva is going to make the team but might come out of the pen and Cashner will get the 5th spot. Braden Looper was told he was not going to make the team and retired.

Hopefully somebody takes Silva off our hands, if not we eat salary but Ricketts family and Hendry would be right about just releasing him outright. He's a joke. How he was supposed to be a temperamental upgrade over Bradley

I'm glad we went ahead and released Silva. I know we have to eat a lot of salary, but I'm okay with that. He'll get picked up elsewhere, I'm sure. I could see the Yankees taking a risk with him. Larry Rothschild is there now, so he might want Silva to come to New York.
