Rose is NICE I mean the kid could potentially be the best in the league one day (although bron and durant might have something to say about that) history continues to show us size wins championships... End of discussion. But it also depends on your roster if your the Lakeshow and have Bynum you take Rose.

I like both players very much. Normally you want to build around a big but in this case I'm leaning more in favor of Rose. Rose has grown from future star to MVP caliber player in just his 3rd season. He has the Bulls on pace to be the number 1 seed out of the east with Noah and Boozer missing combined 50 or so games.

People forget that Rose was a liability on defense just last year. It's Tom Tom Thibodeau that is masking Rose's defensive short comings.
The difference is, Dwight is masking the entire Magic team's defense while Tom Thibodeau is masking Rose's defensive short comings. HUGE difference.
Rose is an inefficient scorer. People need to open their eyes and see. They win because of their genius coach and defense, not because of Rose.
If I had to choose between them, I'd trade Bynum and get Dwight. No question.
