Pearl Out as Vols coach

From the way things shaped up with Pearl admitting having illegal contact with recruits, Vols put under investigation for violations and Pearl serving the 8 game suspensions. Then this 30pt loss to Mich on Sat was the icing on the cake for the Vols to simply let Pearl go outright.

With him gone now, who stands to havethe best chacne on being the next Vols coach?

Word out of Knoxville and Boston is that Lawrence Frank (former Vols assistant) is the current front runner. Although Frank has (reportedly) passed on some opportunities to coach in the Big East, Knoxville is a special situation for him.

Accordng to recent sources, the Celts haven't been contacted about any teams wishing to interview LF. I wonder if he consider UT Knox as an option.

Saw the same thing SD. There's a reported "list" of names floating around now to replace Pearlvert.

Look lke the Vols have chosen Cuonzo Martin as the next Vols coach. I wish him the best of luck considering everything the Vols are going thru this days.
