I just don't like how Sullinger plays so below the rim. Maybe when he cuts weight, he'll get more lift, but as is--I'm not too excited about a release point below the rim.

i was not impressed with Sullinger at all...he is short, round and cant jump. I think after the lost wears off i think he will declare and let someone else draft sean may jr. jr.

I really think Perry Jones is going to be a star in this league. He played out of position this year, but if he somehow falls to us we can not pass on him. He can play three positions in SF, PF, C. He proved he can play Center if thats what you need when he was at Baylor this year. He is 6' 11'' with Kevin Durant handles. I am not saying he is the next Kevin Durant but for his size he is a much more physical Kevin Durant. Perry Jones is a better Dunker and shot blocker, but does not shoot the ball as well from range. Then again neither did Lebron when he came into the league along with plenty of other players. I think his versatility makes him a top 3 pick in itself, but people will let him slide because they didnt see much this year and everybody in the tournament will be fresh on their minds. I think Perry could be a matchup nightmare for SF because of his size and a speed matchup problem for PF. This would also open up the future lineup for other players because he can slide around. We could use a Magic lineup sort of with Jones playing the 4 with only one true big man or we could let Jones play on the perimeter and run a really big lineup. I personally like him at either just depends on who else we put around him. He could be Kevin Durant just without his Three point range and that will come eventually.

Why would you have ever thought that? Who has ever said he was going to be a C???

I don't think I would spend a top 3 pick on him, but maybe that's just becasue he reminds me a little of Diaw in how he looks so out of shape

Each to their own, but you crazy!! He needs to work on his body, sure, but his game is NOTHING like Diaw's.

If he was in better shape people might even be considering him a SF.

That wouldn't make any sense at all. That's like saying Gana should cut weight and play as a PF.

Wiki has him as C recruit.

Why exactly is Perry Jones' stock falling? Jusr because those "benefits" or is there something else?

Yea, I mentioned that a few pages ago. Basically, I pointed out that Sullinger was Sean May without Felton or McCants. I just can't trust a guy that's 6'8-6'9 and 280 pounds. Sullinger may have the motivation that May lacked but that's a lot of risk for a Top Five pick. You can make that risk at 13.

I think it would do wonders for him to stay at least one more season and lose some weight.

Speaking of May:

As long as we fill our needs with talented guys in this draft, I'm happy. IDC what college or country they reside in! If they can shoot the basketball, play defense, and can be coached without questioning the coach or get into trouble with the law, then they are perfect for my team, our team, the Charlotte Bobcats!!! GO BOBCATS!!!!! :D
I'm a Charlotte Bobcats, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Braves and North Carolina Tar Heels fan!

hell yeah - we better do whatever we need to get him. no clue why he isn't projected top 3. Perry is going to be big time SF in the nba. He's like a tmac durant hybrid and with jordan and oakley helping him develop there is no ceiling.

Ok...I officially LOVE Derrick Williams. Top 3 talent in the draft...his body is something else....i'd take him over Barnes.

As much as I wanted UConn to lose, this is starting to shape up nicely for the Tar Heels. If they win tomorrow, they get UConn in the Final 4 and their bigs simply cannot keep up with Carolina's. Shaping up quite nicely, indeed.

True. But the game today will be a battle. Looking forward to it.

The way the boards are starting to look in mocks, and with the order we are looking at, it is quite possible that our 1sts will now be Kemba Walker and Jordan Hamilton. That would not suck at all. I really wanted Kanter early but he will not be around for us.
