I would like us to get Gasol even though his price tag may be to high. Any others?

Keep flexibility for 2012.

Trade Scola for a high draft pick if possible.

If we have a shot at Gasol or Jordan I say go for it. Hell I wouldn't mind Tyson Chandler if we could get him on a good contract.

If the Thunder re-sign Perkins maybe we can center a trade around Scola for Ibaka.

How low will Yao be willing to sign for? Will he do a 1 year deal?

Dragic isn't a free agent yet since we have a a team option on him for next season.

How much is Hayes worth?

He will be a restricted free agent if we decline his option, which might be the way to go if Morey likes Dragic and wants to re-up him to cheap long term deal.

I read on the general board that's he's overrated and not worth more than 2-3mil/year. :lol:

But ya, I fear that some team will throw MLE type money at him, which why I kinda hope that the MLE gets eliminated in the new CBA.

I've been wanting to trade Scola since he signed that contract but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

I'm not sure about waiting until 2012. So many teams will have cap room for 2012 as it stands.

Jeffries & Gooden = not good/useless

I think Hayes deserves the MLE if he gets it, hes earned it for starting 2 full seasons for us while being paid 2mil/year

Why won't you throw the max at Chuck Hayes? He's our franchise player. But seriously, I won't be surprised if some team throws that money at him. Somehow we must resign him.

I'm surprised no one's talking about Brad Miller. We need to find a way to ship him out.

The problem with that is no one will take brad miller. Everyone who wants to wait till 2012 is basically saying that you don't mind us being in the same situation again next year. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying do something stupid or throw an insane amount of money at Gasol. But the problem w/ a strategy such as that is what happens when you wait and don't get the player/players you thought were going to be available? Then what......
