Seriously, how awesome is Gallinari?

22 years old, unlimited range, gets to the hoop or the line at will, starting to rebound, great basketball IQ, excellent and willing passer, increasingly explosive, ambidextrous, great teammate, hard worker & a pure shooter at heart.

I have a feeling he is going to blow up in the playoffs. Matching up with KD would be the perfect setting for his explosion onto the national scene.

Gallo is my favorite player. I agree, he is going to blow up in the playoffs.

If Denver makes a deep run in the playoffs, I could see him being a NBA Finals type candidate.

Wow dude is only 22...he will be an all-star next season. Book it.

needs to be more aggressive/assertive on more possessions per game to take the step to being an all-star. but the talent and potential is certainly there.

it's interesting that he's taking 2 less fgas a game in denver, playing 5 fewer minutes...but still putting up the same stats. as i've said before....i think george karl could potentially be the best thing that happens to gallos career. simply because karl tells the whole team during every practice/shootaround/pre-game/timeout/halftime/plane or bus ride/while eating breakfast....etc to attack the rim aggressively on every possession. when gallo does that, a large majority of the time he gets points or free throws.

Still hard to see exactly where Gallo goes from here. He needs to develop a midrange game, and getting more consistency is easier said than done but I think he's better off out of New York and away from D'antoni in a more team orientated setting. He seems to already be making less mistakes and it should only get better.

He's the type of player you need to have patience with, he might never be the star I think he can be but he's a high reward player.

I would like to see him distribute more and increase his assist numbers. He has already shown the ability to score, get to the line, rebound, and play defense. He also needs to command the ball a bit more then he does, he is very similar to Nene in regards to this area of his game, meaning he is to unselfish at times.

He has been pretty terrific. I can't wait to see how he'll do next season after a full training camp and more development on his game.

A part of his game can develop into a point forward like Hedo Turkoglu, but like Turkoglu, he needs the "ball in his hands".

By the time he is 25 or 26 (or maybe sooner), I think his overall game will be a mix of Manu Ginobili and Hedo Turk -- with better defense and rebounding. But he is progressing much faster and playing extremely well, much better than I had anticipated and maybe he will blow up in 2011 playoffs  .

Every player in the league has hit big shots. Gallo is really not that much of a long rang shooter. Even Chandler shoots better than him, even though Gallo gets more praise for shooting.

Gallo is a overrated shooter, too inconsistent to have him camp @ the 3 point line like MDA did, his game will be drawing contact and going to the FT line

He's a bust, always has been and always will be. But as long as the league keeps letting bitches like him who don't know how to play basketball get away with flopping he'll continue being somewhat effective.

If he is a "bitch" than what are you? I'd rather be a "bitch" in the nba scoring 16ppg on an exciting winning team than a troll disguised as a internet tough guy.

He is an incredibly racist, peanut brained moron who is an embarrassment to every Knick fan.

By the way, Gallo is a very, very good long distance shooter. He didn't get invited to the three point contest last year because he was bad at it. He's just not having a great year with the J. It happens. The guy will be above 40% for his career when all is said and done.

Every honest NY fan will tell you that although they like Anthony on the team, they wish they also had Gallo.

When he's 24-25, he's gonna be scary good. I've never seen a non-star get to the line the way he does. Being that tall and being able to drive on anyone will get you so far in this league.

Sean Elliot was raving about Gallo last week during the Spurs game.

He asked rhetorically "a big guy with that kind of handle? "

Gallo is a much better shooter than he has shown this season. He has had wrist and knee injuries that did not help. Obviously the major back injury in his rookie year was not helpful either. He was developing a very nice Larry Bird/Dirk type fadaway from 15-20 feet but I havent seen him use it as a Nugget yet. He is a work in progress. As the prior poster said once he hits 24-25 look out.

I was willing to have Gallo bought out straight up. Getting Carmelo/Billups back was a huge HUGE bonus. Though losing chandler and mozgov kinda sucked.

Yeah, you'd buy out a 22 year old who put up 16/5/with a TS% of around 60 so we could play awesome guys like Billy Walker instead?

what's your deal MSGballerz?
did you make a move on gallinari and got rejected?

because honestly that seems to be the only rational reason for such a blind and unmotivated hatred.
you are obsessed with him to the point of going to other team's boards just in order to post nonsensical hate.
get therapy.
