As there is a 90% chance of a lockout

Post#1 » by Mac1 » Sun Mar 27, 2011 6:59 am

I'd like to hear all your thoughts regarding whats going to happen to our team. I know the season still has 10 games or so left but its not so much a question of us not getting a good end of season run, its more abou not being able to see the teams above us losing enough for us to catch em..

with that said..as there may be no NBA next year what does this mean for the phoenix suns in particular..our rebuilding process etc..

A lockout doesn't necessarily mean there will be no games. It's in every party's best interest to end it as soon as possible and it could just mean there's a lock out for the first month of free agency.

there's no however about it. even if there is a lockout, it won't be for the whole season. millionaires don't just sit around and piss on their money.

they cram the schedule after a lockout though, so if we did have nash or hill still, they'd be deeply affected by the back to backs.

lockout? 2, 3 summer weeks of the media drama & it's over. Money is the key. NBA will start normally, in time. No problem in sight
Offense wins games, Defense wins championships...

+1. I think too many people are freaking out over this. The big issue isn't how long it will go on for, but what the CBA will look like after.

Without the NFL, I don't see the NBA locking out. Too much business to be gained by not.
