Haven't seen much of Knight this tourney outside of highlights. Watching the game now I must say, this guy looks like a solide starter at the very least.

I rank Walker one spot lower because he's a little older and shorter. They are about equal in skills although Walker's is a little more refined since he's been in college longer. The position we need a major upgrade is at the point. Knight fulfills the qualities we desire. He's able to run the break, shoot jumpers, drive into the paint, plays adequate defense and is a competitor that's not afraid to make the big plays.

You're almost there. Knight is the better pro prospect than Kyrie. Don't really want to argue the point because I know you all have convinced yourself Irving is your top choice, but there are several attributes Knight has that Irving doesn't and they all will help Knight be the better pro, IMO.

Pace + Size

What it is is most fans prefer the natural point guard like a Irving, Paul and Williams. Guys like Knight, Rose and Westbrook are often seen not as good running the point but it could be argued they are better players than the natural point guards I've listed. It's a matter of which type of player you prefer on the team and with ours currently, we need a natural point guard more than a scoring one. If we were to move Andrea, I think a scoring point guard would be a lot more beneficial for us.

I want Brandon Knight on this team. Young player who knows how to lead a team. He screams 'leader' to me.

Does Barnes do anything on the offensive end at an exceptional rate other can rise up for catch and shoot jumpers? I don't want to pile on but when people say you're a lock for the top 3 and I see no playmaking skills I get unsettled.

Knight should clearly be higher than Barnes on any given draft board.

I agree, I would draft Knight over Barnes. My top 3 is Irving, Williams and Knight.

Terrence Jones gets no lift off the dribble. This is going to kill him in the NBA.

This is what I mean about Barnes, the guy cannot control a game. He is needed to step up right now but he's f'ing up.

Wow you guys are being really harsh on Barnes.

He's been playing great defense and other than turning the ball over a couple times he's been very effective this game.

Knight has been playing better but its not like they are playing head-to-head.

Barnes has to play against Tjones who is a solid big defender whereas Knight has been playing against Dexter Strickland who im not at all a fan of.

Knight is a stud plain and simple, he controls the game in so many ways. Either hitting game winning shots, or controlling the pace of the game , he has stud potential written all over him. Dominating the NCAA tournament at such a young age, I hope the Raptors select him if Irving is off the boards. Knight is going to be one helluva NBA player. Knight has controlled this game from the start, Barnes is barely even visible.

Honestly, I've been watching Barnes the whole time and his D hasn't been that great.

Maybe you're watching a different game then me.. he's consistently boxing out/crashing boards, and I haven't seen Liggins Miller or Jones blow by him once

Barnes has been anointed a top 3 prospect by many of you. The things said are not too harsh when you consider that. Cat really struggles putting the ball on ghe floor. He is no way near a top 3 propect, IMO.

Question: if Brandon and Harrison were on the same team with a chance to go to the Final Four, who would you want to have the ball in their hands?

with an impending lockout, this might be a legitimate option for players.

Kentucky's talent this year is nowhere near next year's Gilchrist/Davis/Teague level and last year's team's level, yet the current team is still able to go as far as getting a shot at the final four wow. These soon-to-be nba role players are definitely making a tease at Wall and Cousin lol.

I agree that Barnes has been having a rough game, but he is playing really well defensively, and yes, I have watched every second of the game so far.

I like Barnes, but I also really like what I see from Knight. If the draft were today, I may be more inclined to pick Knight if I were the Raptors GM.

Thats a stupid rhetorical question its not like Barnes hasn't hit game winners this year obviously knight has been clutch as **** all tournament but Barnes has shown he's also clutch in the past

And I would have to think long and hard about it before I picked Knight over Barnes.
