West was atop a lot of wishlists from the Pacers fans on this board. Does this recent injury sway your thinking at all? Especially considering Tyler's play as of late.
Given this injury, I'd think it would make him less likely to opt out of his contract. Plus, does it scare you now that he'll be a 31-year-old veteran coming off a season-ending injury and looking for a new contract? Nene's been atop my wishlist for a while and this reinforces it. A guy who can be a presence inside, hit the glass, and score without having to draw up tons of plays for him.

He'd be a little silly to opt out now. Even if he does, I think Indy would be best of looking elsewhere, such as a Landry or a Thompson etc. We don't need $40-$50m tied up in an injured 30+ PF at this stage.
