I still think Leander is not that bad

I actually enjoy him more than Gary Bender.

Leander is much better than Bender. Bender says nothing original. Everything he says is from the newspaper from that morning.

The main problem with Suns broadcasting is Scott Williams. He is just the worst. The guy never shuts up and I just generally don't like him. He was a nobody in the league for the most part and played with the Suns for I think like 2 seasons. We need to get him out of the booth and replace him with just about anyone. Chambers would be an excellent choice but he won't travel so that is a no go.

And the world rejoiced!

I hate Gary Bender. Half the time he doesn't seem to know where he is. Gets calls wrong all the time and generally just sounds like he shouldn't be commentating.

Honestly, and I don't know if it makes me a bad fan because I just pop up the stream and listen.....I don't know which one Bender is and which one Leander is.

Gary bender is the older guy, with Scott Williams doing colour
Tom Leander is the younger guy with Eddie Johnson

I don;t mind Leander but Scott W gets on my nerves at times - if he's put out to pasture along with bender, fine

did you catch that shot at Jon Barry last night? He said, I'd take the minimum to play with nash, and the other guys say - "Why not - you took the minimum to play with everuybody else."

Lovely

I despise jon Barry - he skim-reads ESPN or something and that constitutes his entire take on the game. The Suns defense goes form second worst to 12-best, and he says - "The Suns don't play defense and it's killing them" - hopelessly uniformed and seems to have a high regard for his own abilities, which to my knowledge has never been shared by others around the league

Brent, though, is a good guy and an enjoyable commentator.

Jon has been put in his place ever since he kept commenting on how the Suns were getting screwed over during that famous Spurs series years ago. He pointed out at least seven calls that were terrible, and made incorrectly by the refs. After that, we didn't/don't hear much from him that would point out that Stern and his goons fix games.

Gary Bender: Old guy. Nothing relevant besides Chapman's 3 call.

Leander: ABSOLUTELY! ...with the FLUSH! Downloads a three! HELLO! ...with the CRUSH!!

I'm pretty sure Eddie and Scott Williams switch places sometimes. Or am I just clueless?

I can tell them all apart - maybe that makes me weird... :P

I think they are all ok with the possible exception of Scott Williams who often sounds like he's trying too hard be cool. Leander's trademark statements are so dorky but they don't bother me too much.

They are all head and shoulders above anyone from ESPN and most of the guys from TNT though.

I would rather have any combination of the Suns commentators than those useless morons.

Breen/JVG/Jackson are easily my least favourite commentators in any sport. They are beyond terrible.

come on. I'm a freaking argentinian and call tell them apart. They are quite different.

Both much better and tolerable than Mark Jackson/Cleveland announcers/Heat announcers/Chicago announcers (i fall asleep to them).

Breen is okay - but JVG has worn out his welcome and Jackson is just execrable

Mike Fratell is good, from the networks, as was Doug Collins

Don't Bender and Eddie Johnson do games together too?
