Durant. Westbrook is sort of feast or famine. Durant is far more consistent, on both ends I'd say.

yea he famined his way into the allstar game and milestones with guys like Lebron James.. Durant is more consistent as in he consistently takes bad shots.. but if Russ takes bad shots he's a ball hog.. riight?

Durant is far more efficient with his possessions, and consistently so. Nobody is saying Westbrook is a bad player, but he's far more inconsistent than Durant.

i noticed Darnell Mayberry raised an issue out of Durants 3 point attempts how he's played less games this year and already taken more 3's than last year.. Its funny how KD's faults are never brought up here.. just thought i'd point that out

Who's more important to the team?
Westbrook.
You know what you get with Durant. Points in the teens at least some rebounding and he will struggle against physical defenders like artest. He'll work his way around that in a season or two hopefully. He's also more consistent as in the sense that his bad games he still pile on the points just not as much but now he learnt how to help in other ways like making an effort on defence/rebounding/assist.
Westbrook is more important as there's 2 version of him. There's the i can pass the ball mode and the ball is mine alone mode. If he share the ball, it seems the rest of the team will move the ball as well. If at times durant is double teamed or otherwise, he seemed reluctant to pass the ball to ibaka/harden and take shots for himself or forced durant into a late shot clock attempt.
*I don't think that Westbrook doesn't share the ball. His assist average shows that he does share the ball but since he's still learning how to be a playmaker, at times he doesn't share the ball enough. His shots selection has seemed to improved though. Beside, if he doesn't pass the ball, how effective can durant be? *

He still pile on the points though right?
TBH, as a beat writer, it's rare that he nitpick on anything if at all. guess it must have concerned him enough.

Shooting more three pointers isn't a fault when you're shooting them well. Durant is shooting 44% from 3PT range this month.
He's been shooting more from the perimeter this year than ever, though. So, something is going on. I think it'd be foolhardy to blame Durant only for that, though.
