Why don't we talk about Kleiza anymore?

Post#1 » by wadecountyordie » Wed Mar 30, 2011 4:00 am

What's good everybody? so i was watching the game the other day against the clippers, and was thinking about our squad in my mind. Then i remembered that Linas Kleiza was a part of the team, does anyone know whats going on with him, or why Matt and them dont talk about him anymore? I find it weird that he hasn't been mentioned in a while.

Just curious.

Hard to talk about a guy on the sidelines. The only thing they can really talk about him is his injury, and I dont think people wanna hear Leo mention his injury about 20x a game.

He stinks. Or at least he did this season. Either way he's probably never going to get the starting SF spot back.

He was a decent bench player with Denver. Actually I think he was a fan favorite as well with them for a season or two, IIRC.

The Raptors just don't know how to utilize Euro players in their right roles -- Hedo, Bargs, Jose, Klieza, Marco, etc.

Kleiza is actually more suited for an energy, hustle player -- diving for looose balls, being THAT energy guy on the court for the Raptors. Occasionally he'll drop 20+ points, but he should NOT be a primary scoring option. Something like Chris "Birdman" Andersen does for the Nuggets off the bench.

He should have stayed in Denver.
