I disagree, because the reality is that pure relief prospects aren't anywhere near as highly perceived in reality as some fans want to make them out to be. I'm sure AA liked Collins a lot; but at the end of the day he's just a pretty good prospect at a position where you can literally find usable free agents every year, or simply convert failed starters. In this day and age where stats have proven the overrated "value" of relievers, I'm sure most competent GMs would have easily made that trade if they were in our position. We were in the right place at the right time because we had a veteran SS who was performing like an all-star but at the same time could afford to give him up for a guy who wasn't performing at all because we weren't even trying to make a playoff push.

I noticed on the BJ website they are saying the game is free today on MLB.TV....if you're around a computer but not a tv.

I've got it on at work here...on mlb.tv....free today. They just ask that you register which is very quick. Nice picture on my computer.

i think he hung a breaking ball on a 3-1 pitch...longoria tagged it. Not as sharp as last week as seems to be throwing a lot of balls. Settled down a bit in the 2nd.

Bautista is so locked in right now, his two hits today were especially impressive. He got beat both times by swinging at bad pitches but he managed to stay back and make solid contact, the strikezone control was something to watch.

So who is going to step up and make the first series thread?

Please remember to include all the normal information... times for each game, TV channel, starting pitchers and so on.
