Re: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Phoenix Suns 3/30
ORTG: 128.7
DRTG: 108.7
PACE: 90.2
Defense was far more effective in the second half, the DRTG in the first half was 114. We still ended up with a below average defensive game for us, overall.
Offense was terrific, aided a lot by the Hack a Perk. 8-18 from 3PT range, turnovers weren’t wild.
Only issue that really is still there is the starters come out really flat in the third and can’t generate offense. Once Harden came back into the game, it started to swing in our favor. He’s going to have to start eventually.
Great road win, they mentioned on the Suns broadcast that this is the most wins in a month in OKC or SEA history.

Out of curiousity how many minutes has harden averaged since he trade? I guess it's slightly less than 30 mins.

Thanks guys. At this stage of the season it's probably better to increase harden's minute than put him straight into the lineup when Westbrook/durant doesn't really pass to him much

Re: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Phoenix Suns 3/30
I’m not gonna lie, I was a huge Sonics fan, and when they moved I wanted nothing to do with this team. I wanted them to lose every game in that first season. But what some might not know, I was at the Thunder’s first ever game and no I’m not talking about in OKC. I’m talking about their first pre-season game, in my hometown of Billings, MT. I met Sam Presti, the year before at a Sonics game and I was extremely impressed by his persona. I was about 10 rows up and I yelled his name, and he actually came up and talked to me. I then saw him again in Billings and we talked for a long time and he sorry told me for everything that happened during that summer. He then told me that he was going to make this team I would want to keep watching. He then escorted me to KD as he signed my Sonics KD jersey, I almost teared up because since I was 4 I was a Sonics fan and it was almost like I was saying goodbye. Living in Billings there are not many die-hard NBA fans, and as Nick Collison was doing the layup drills, he yelled “Suuuuuperrrr” and I could barely even whisper “Sonics” because I was still treating this game as my last game to say goodbye to the NBA. But as I left the Arena, Sam gave me an address and told me to let me know if I needed anything, let him know. I wrote him a letter during the summer, I asked for a anything he could send out for a family I was babysitting for a summer job. Ten days later he sent me a ball signed by the whole team, with 3 Thunder hats for the kids, and one for myself. It was then and there that my anger for this team completely fanished. Like everyone, I was so excited for this season. I flew out to OKC to see my first game (which tickets were given to me from Sam) and trust me I would do anything to live in OKC so I could go to every game. Sam Presti and these amazing and most of all professional players brought me back to become an NBA fan. I think we need to look at how lucky we are to have such a stand out GM in SP and such a great team that loves to play and be with each other. I’m so excited to grow old with this team!
From another forum. I love this team

This is the most wins in OKC history, Seattle history ended in 2008. Seriously, when are we going to get some mods on the OKC forum from OKC?

This is the same franchise as the Seattle Supersonics. It always will be. Get used to it

I do not like saying in 'franchise history', because I don't feel that's very clear. When someone says OKC and SEA history, I think the meaning is better understood.
In any event, this isn't the thread for that discussion...

I think you should get used to the OKC Thunder. Last time I checked, Seattle has no NBA franchise to keep history of anything. I guess people in minny should be celebrating all championships that the lakers won too right? Just like the people in NO should be celebrating the legacy of john stockton and malone too I guess.

I don't know why you're trying to imply that you think I live in Seattle. I live in Edmond, Oklahoma and go to every game when I don't work that night.
Just because I respect this franchise's previous successes and failures before they came here, that has nothing to do with "NO celebrating stockton"
But as slick said earlier, this is not the place to discuss this. Make a thread if you want to carry on this conversation further.
