Pump your brakes.
Umm...does everyone know what BANE did to Batman in the comics???? :o :o

The original Bane concept was probably one of the best villains period. Straight genius, came with a monster gameplan and BODIED Batman in a way we'd never seen before. If he's used properly (which I expect), he'll be epic in this.

Also, I don't think Nolan is overrated...he deserves plenty of props. Dude is one of the few directors with an absolutely recognizable and complete obsession with details.

Wait, Cameron as in James Cameron? Why is he even mentioned in the same sentence as Nolan? Nolan hasn't made a bad movie ever.

Aquaman did exceptionally well at the box office (beat Spider-Man's record at the time), but it doesn't come close to touching Nolan's Batman flicks quality-wise.

I personally liked Batman Begins more than Dark Knight. How much more can they stretch the Batman series? It's better to end it, when it is good.

I want to sleep, chill and watch ESPN/basketball all day for the next week, but I have to look for a job and study for the GRE every single day.

For the next week to month, I'm going to be stuck in a library.

secondly, how realistic can he actually make a JL film? it has superman, wonder woman, and the green lantern for godsakes.

Begins was pretty fvkn good id say

probably his only film that I've liked. i just don't get the ridiculous praise he gets from fans of this genre though.

You know Inception was ripped off of Duck Takles right?? That movie sucked.
And I'm not talking about how crazy Batman vs. Bane will be. I'm talking about THIS Batman vs. Bane. It's gonna look so cheesy. Like seriously how is he gonna make this work? I used to love DK but am starting to notice how overrated it was.

How isn't THIS Batman vs Bane a good fit? Assuming Bane is held true to his original story, he'll be anything but corny.

"He is fascinated with Gotham City because, like the prison, it is a place where fear rules: in this case, fear of Batman. Bane is convinced that the demonic bat that haunted his dreams since childhood is a representation of the Batman.[3][4]

Aware that a direct assault on Batman would be foolish, Bane destroys the walls of Arkham Asylum, allowing its deranged inmates (including the Joker, the Scarecrow, the Mad Hatter, the Ventriloquist, Firefly, Cavalier, and Victor Zsasz) to escape into Gotham City, where Batman spends three months rounding them up. Running himself to exhaustion, Batman returns to Wayne Manor, where Bane awaits him, having determined Batman's secret identity. Bane fights Batman in the Batcave, defeats him and delivers the final blow: Bane breaks Batman's back, leaving him paraplegic; Bane thus becomes the only man to have "Broken the Bat".[3][4]"

He's a pretty dope character imo. I don't care where the plot of Inception came from honestly, I though it was a dope, heavily detailed, well told story...though the Prestige is superior to me. That's like hating the Sixth Sense bc Are You Afraid of the Dark had the exact same plot years earlier.

Some of you have no taste in movies. Dark Knight and Inception were awesome.

Just clarifying before people run to call Nolan such a great filmmaker. I know Bane won't be held to the original story which is why I have a bad feeling about this movie. And a reboot must be done if a Justice League movie will be made.

OT: Obese man sat in chair for 2 years, skin fused to chair

Post#880 » by Invictus » Thu Mar 31, 2011 5:43 pm

A morbidly obese Ohio man who had to be cut loose from a chair he had not left for two years has died, officials said.

The 43-year-old man had been hospitalized since Sunday after his roommates called 911 when they found him unconscious in the living room chair.

Bellaire police had to cut the man free after finding that his skin had fused to the chair's fabric.

They said he sat in his own waste and was covered in maggots.
