GT: Celtics vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Thu Mar 31, 2011 4:29 pm

When: 8:00 PM ET, March 31, 2011
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Starting Lineups:

Celtics:
PG - Rajon Rondo
SG - Ray Allen
SF - Paul Pierce
PF - Kevin Garnett
C - Nenad Krstic

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - George Hill
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Antonio McDyess

We've lost 4 straight games coming into this one and we really need a win. The Celtics have been struggling lately as well but they're going to be a tough opponent despite their struggles. The key to this gamie is going to be the play of the bench. We're going to need big contributions from Hill and Blair if we want to win this one.

It sounds like the big 3 will be back together tonight. Thats great news because we really need Duncan back right now.

Go Spurs!!

And a great pass by Duncan to Dice for the easy flush.

Manu owning Garnett was awesome!!

Anyways, i'm mad!! Can't believe that Pop didn't learn the leason.. SPLITTER!!
Stop with Bonner. He stretches the floor but if his not making his threes, i would like to be more secure on defense. Remember the "defense wins championships" thing??

And RJ is playing really bad D..Why not Danny Green??

Mark my words: if we continue with this frontcourt and no Splitter, we are out in the 1st round unless we play against the Hornets..
No defense at all. Bonner is a liability in that area. He's not making 3s and he's driving the ball. FAIL!

DEEEFFFEEEEEENNNNNSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE!!!! DEFENSE!!

Danny Green is a good defender. Too bad Pop didn't play him.
