Tor pick
Ed Davis
Barbosa

Sac pick
Cousins
Garcia

- I understnad we lose out on Ed davis, but we pick up Cousins. Prolly the same player imo but one is at the 5 and the other is at the 4. I'll take the C everytime tho.

- They upgrade their draft standings
- Free up money by dumping garcia for barbosa plus they get the better player of the two...
- They get Ed davis, who seems like a young well liked kid with tons of upside.

I don't see Sacramento trading DeMarcus for anyone in this draft

I could see them doing it if they are getting back the #1 pick plus another young prospect. I don't think Cousins has made a great impression on them so far.

Although I've been on the Brandon Knight bandwagon since before March Madness, I'm not gonna lie, a core of Demar, Ed and Kemba sound real nice.

Oh yeah, if you trade them our pick and a good young prospect, then I'm sure they'd definitely consider doing it... but is it really worth trading away that much for him? I don't think so, we need quality young talent at more than one position, and it's not like Cousins is going to put us over the top or something.

The only way I do it is if we're getting their pick as well.

Basically a swap of last years picks. While switching this years picks. With Barbosa and Garcia as the filler. Again, I'd only consider it. But its not a bad trade at all.

We are giving up a lot but we are getting a lot in return. We are giving our top 5 pick for another top 5 pick. We are trading Ed davis for Cousins and Barbosa for garcia.... We could leave draft night with Cousins & Barnes/Walker/Knight/PJ/TJ while giving up Irving & Ed Davis. Fair trade imo. We Fill two holes at C and whoever we draft to play at PG or SF. Cousins will definately put us over the top, not right away, but in the future he should. You don't not go after a player just because the team isn't ready yet. When you finally think ur team is ready, your going to have to settle for some1 else who might not be as good or give up way too much.

Yea!!!! I'd only do it if we liked some1 at their pick. I assume there would be a player who would fit a need for us and still give us some excitement as far as potential goes at sac's position if they ended up with a worse pick than ours...

Awful???? Awful for who??? Fair trade imo. I gave solid reasons as to why either team would do it too...

Awful for Sacramento/Anaheim. Getting rid of Garcia for Barbs isn't worth giving up on a talent like DMC. Ed, as much as I like him, isn't in his class. But don't take offense, I've already read some worse draft-trade suggestions in this thread.

The sweeter is potentially pairing kryrie irving with tyreke evans to form an incredible backcourt for like the next half decade.... While giving up a head case in DMC & still gaining Ed davis. No offense taken, I just think awful is the wrong word...

I'm sorry. No one's giving up Cousins to go from #5 spot to #4 in a weak draft like this one
Besides, even if they are getting the #1 pick, I think Knight/Evans/Thornton/Cousins core is better than Kyrie/Evans/Thornton/Davis core.

The 2011 NBA Draft Lottery will take place on May 17 this year, and it will go down during halftime of one of the NBA playoff games. It's probably safe to assume that it will be during the 2011 Western Conference Finals, and that this could be a great night for the teams that move up into those top three slots. During the NBA Draft Lottery, only the top three spots are up for grabs, and then every other team falls into order based on their 2010-11 records.

That's pretty much how it works.
