The Nuggets will have to have a better preformance than they did on Wednesday in order to leave SacTown with another win over the Kings. Marcus Thornton scored 27 in that meeting and will have to be kept in check along with Tyreke Evans who both can get to the whole at will. Afflalo's possible return could help the Nuggets with those two, although he may be slightly limited still with his hamstring. The Kings have no answers for Ty Lawson's speed and the Nuggets should continue to exploit that in this game in order to open up some shots. Hopefully this will help eliminate the Nuggets shooting woes from Wednesday. I have yet to read anything about Kenyon not being back from the flu, so I expect his post defensive presence to be helpful if DeMarcus Cousins decides to show up this time around. Overall this is a very winnable game if the Nugs get some better shooting and a game they need to win in order to keep playoff positioning.

George Karl via espn wrote:Beating a team back-to-back in the NBA is a difficult challenge, I don't care what the records say. They beat us in Sacramento and kind of embarrassed us a little bit on national TV, so they are not afraid of us.

Raymond Felton via espn wrote:I compare it to when I was in college. We had a team full of good players. Everybody can score. We just kind of came together. Everybody didn't care who was scoring or who was getting the shots. We were worrying more about winning. We had a lot of success that way and that's what's happening so far here.

Here's a feel good article from the Denver Post on Gary Forbes and his challenges with Type 1 Diabetes. True professional and one of the better stories of the year.

having our full roster is both a blessing and a curse. Its almost impossible to give everyone the minutes they deserve.

Hi! Bucks fan here (don't laugh). I like how the Nuggets are set up with the Melo trade, and I've always had a soft spot for Denver (I have relatives who live in Colorado, and they are a smaller market team like the Bucks). I was not a big Melo fan, so getting rid of him makes it easier to root for Denver. Hopefully you can take down some of the top western teams with a very deep roster. Who do you guys think is the best player on your team. I was thinking through the players, and it is such a balanced roster that I could think of 6 or 7 guys that could lead the team in scoring on any given night.

I really don't know who the best player is...

Gallo has a huge upside, could be the best one day.
Nene is solid but he disappears too much for me to say he's "the best"
JR can be the most dynamic but not consistent enough.
Ty and Ray are good...not the best though

So I'll rephrase it: who would you feel most comfortable taking the shots down the stretch, regardless of whether a 2, 3, or free throws are needed?

I'm not even from Sac, but show some respect will ya?
