Just came home. Looks like Kemba is winning the matchup. I bet everyone is jumping on his bandwagon now.

He has more natural SG skills than DD.

Yeah, it's mostly that. I still don't like the idea of masking deficiencies in one position with someone at another, like you have to do with Demar though I like him. I don't like saying that we need a PG with a 3pt shot and a SF with out-of-position ball skills or whatever, and soon we may have to accept a possible general inability to defend and cover for that. I'd like to move him now if that's coming.

The defensive potential of Lamb is impressive and he's so fluid offensively. He seems to understand how to use his length already and some guys never get that. I don't see what would hold him back from being an NBA SG.

The other GM wouldn't think twice about that trade. That should say enough.

That right there is the knock on Knight. Out of control when he drives.....lots of turnovers.

He'd have to improve his handle a lot, or he'd get stripped all the time in the NBA.

While Knight's mid-range game is impressive, it unfortunately plays into some of his problems as a player, namely his incredible tendency to turn the ball over, as he's averaging 4.4 turnovers per game compared to just 3.6 assists thus far. Knight frequently gets into trouble forcing dribble penetration, either losing control of the ball in a crowd or over-penetrating and tries to bail himself out with a last second pass, one that usually isn't successful.

Knight's passing game in general is a major cause for concern based on what he's shown very early on in college, as he rarely looks for teammates when creating his own shot, getting most of his assists by simply moving the ball around the perimeter in the flow of the offense.

Kemba Walker is a straight up baller. The determination he's displayed the past two defensive sequences have been a pleasure to watch.

One thing for sure if that if we draft Kemba Walker, you know he's gonna end up being the leader of our team. We're young and short on talent just like uconn.

His determination/effort would be a big help on this team. He has that killer instinct. That's what separates him from other guys IMO.
