Jazz v Nets

Post#1 » by Wolverine » Sun Apr 3, 2011 1:34 am

Who do you think would win in a game if they were to play now????
Nets have been pretty decent since the trade, Jazz have had glimpses only.
Who you got?

Neither team has been "pretty decent". Beating the Raptors twice is no accomplishment.

I'd take the Jazz -5.

The Nets lost by 30 to the 76ers last night...

Let's be honest... The Nets would destroy us right now. Regardless of whether we played in Utah or NJ. There isn't a team in the league right now that I would be surprised if they beat us. This team will bounce back, but as it stand right now... Boy, we sure suck.

Excellent logic considering we just lost by 10 to the defending champs and arguably the league's best team right now.

We were also the Wizards 2nd away win for the season. I can't separate us at the moment

Exactly. What's more telling about that Lakers game than the fact that we only lost by 10, is that we were up by 15+ at one point. Don't get me wrong. I like this roster, I like the trade, I like our future, I like Corbin, and more importantly, I like watching this team more than the team we sported the last little while with D-Will. But the bottom line is... we suck at winning games. Which is honestly fine by me as long as we are fighting.

As bad as we've been lately we would still beat them. Our bigs would destroy them. If Deron was even half of himself I would say the Nets but his poor play would end up killing them.

I watch damn near every nets game now..... to hope they lose.

And the nets really look terrible, granted lopez is a good scorer but nothing more.

Mac--I agree. This is a very good roster. Next year when everyone is healthy and they've had a chance to work out an offensive and defensive scheme together, they'll get back to winning.

If Memo can make a comeback that would help, and if AK resigns that's another plus on defense. If neither one is back, then they'll be two holes to fill in. If Tomic comes from Europe, the Jazz just got a lot better.

I can't see Williams staying there. I just don't think his family would adjust well to the NJ/NY lifestyle, and he doesn't like losing.

Hey, maybe he'll sign a long term deal with the Jazz! That's why the Jazz should draft a point guard with their lottery picks.
