GT: Suns vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sat Apr 2, 2011 7:03 pm

When: 1:00 PM ET, April 3, 2011
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

VS

Starting Lineups:

Suns:
PG - Steve Nash
SG - Grant Hill
SF - Jared Dudley
PF - Channing Frye
C - Marcin Gortat

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Antonio McDyess

We`re currently on our worst losing streak since 1997 and we need to end this misery already. The theme of this losing streak has been post play, mainly that we`re getting kill by opposing big men. To beat the Suns our bigs are going to have to show up. Bonner needs to hit some shots already, Blair needs to bring some energy, Dice needs to defend and hit that mid range jumper and Duncan has to just do his thing.

Go Spurs!!

To say we need this one is an understatement. The next 6 games ordinarily wouldn't be so tough, but with the way we're playing of late, who knows.

We should take this one. co_laper is predicting a loss though.

Not againts Phoenix. This is a must win game. Plus, we're at home. But if we don't win, then we're in serious trouble.

Great first half, Up 70-46. Hill has been amazing so far.

i just got back from BWW, and it was a nice pick up game. I thought that we let off the gas after halftime. They were close to breaking triple digits.

I think Pop has finally given in and said **** it... we aren't going to win like we used to. We just don't have the defensive personnel to lockdown teams.

PS... Good god... VC sucks. I know we rag on RJ alot, but we were seriously considering trading for VC a while back and I am glad we didn't. He doesn't care and it just isn't in him to really apply himself anymore.

This game was over at the half. But i'll give the Suns some credit they came out and played hard in that 2nd half. We really needed a win like this, hopefully this is what finally gets us going.

And BR, completely agree with you on VC. The dude has fallen off the map, he just doesn't care anymore. Brooks, Gortat and Dudley were actually trying in that 2nd half and VC was out there clowning around and laughing it up with our players.

I'd also like to point out that Matt Bonner had 11 rebounds this game, thats right Matt Bonner had 11 rebounds in a game, 11.

Amazing, I thought he was allergic to something inside the 3 point line.
