Have fans ever pushed an owner out??
We all hate Sarver. There is no (that I know of) defender of him on this board. We represent a solid voice of the Suns fans everywhere.
In the history of sports, have fans ever chased an owner out? If no, how would we go about doing it. You can say boycott games, but I am not sure that would work. I dunno, maybe some kind of human chain? haha.
Bottom line: I WANT SARVER GONE!

Deron Williams pushed Sloan out, so maybe we can get Sarver out.

Only way would be to stop supporting this team financially which in turns puts less money in his pockets. He may consider selling if he continues to lose money on this franchise.

Or if we burned his house down.

Pretty much, only reason why Sterling is still owns the Clips is because of how profitable the LA region is, television, ad revenue, ticket sales, etc.
If we have a couple of losing seasons, it will weed out all the bandwagoners and attendance / viewership should plummet.
Its a double-edged sword, we want the Suns to win a championship, but it means Sarver is staying. If Sarver sells, it means we will have to endure multiple years of a cellar-dwelling team.

No good, he would just find some way to profit from the insurance claim.

If we force his hand financially, he'll be less willing to put out a championship-level product on the floor.
Really there's no way unless someone gets an ownership group together to put a bid.

I think all the ex-Suns should intervene.
Actually, I wish some self-made m(b?)illionaire that has always rooted for the Suns would come along and purchase the team.
That's what happened with my Buffalo Sabres. New owner, lifelong Sabres fan, took over February 22 and you immediately saw a massive change in the way everything was done. In the arena, with the media, with the players....just, everything. I'd kill to see that type of change happen here.

If you want the Suns to re-locate to San Diego or whatever then you are right.

California with 5 teams? Wouldn't happen. AZ is a big enough state to be able to support an NBA team.

So most every ownership group has a lead (Sarver) and several limited partners. You wouldn't need to buy the whole team (in theory), you'd just need to buy Sarver out of his share.
Grant Hill comes to mind.... he has legitimate investments and I could see him really excelling at ownership. Can you imagine? Hill vs. Jordan, Part II.

On Steve Nash:

I would love to see Shaq as an owner and he's one of the few players who made enough money in his playing days to actually afford a team.
