Smith and Hinrich.

Post#1 » by Hood President » Sat Apr 2, 2011 6:27 am

Is it me or is there some friction between them two? During a fast break in the 3rd quarter against the celtics friday Smith was on the left and Horford was on the right. Hinrich fed Horford the ball in traffic in which Horford turned the ball over or got it blocked. Hinrich fell to the ground and while on the ground smith cussed at him before running back to the other end of the court. Im guessing for not giving him the when he was open on the break.

This has been going along ever since Hinrich got here. Smith doesnt give him the ball in the halfcourt and Hinrich doesnt give him the ball on a open break.

Joe a small percentage of time doesn't sometimes throw smith the ball on the break even though no is in front of smith and the rim but I think them 2 are cool.

This isn't a bash Smith or bash Hinrich thread so PLEASE don't make it into one. Hell, Smith is my favorite player on the team. However im just stating a observation.

Didn't notice him cussing him, but Josh has been more than frigid toward Hinrich imo. I think it might stem from Josh and Mike Bibby being close. So you couple the trade with Josh's questionable maturity and wearing his emotions on his sleeve and you get on-court friction.

I am able to watch the game tonight against Houston, but my job has been keeping me busy, so I have only been able to refresh my box score during the recent games. Josh is probably upset that we traded Bibby, but is possibly upset, because we made a poor decision by including the 1st & Crawford.

Any issues he has with Hinrich need to stop now. Josh needs to be as focused as possible since the playoffs are just around the corner and we have some key players (Joe Johnson) who are far from being 100%
