no we take Kyrie Irving and run far away

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

It depends on who the first pick is. I think it'll be D. Will in which case I would do it. If Minny or Sacremento gets the second pick than no we pick Irving and never look back.

I didn't think Kemba looked any better than Knight yesterday. Kemba looks like a 5'11 John Wall/Russell Westbrook which is really bad. If you're that size you want to play like Lawson did in college - fluid, in control, unbelievable shooting, completley unreliant on contact. Kemba is a physical/explosiveness player who needs contact a lot. This isn't going to translate.

Knight has the size and his shooting should help him on the pick and roll, which UK didn't run that much. I think worst case scenario he hits 3s and defends which fits as a starting PG beside Demar for the time being.

I think I'm back on the Perry Jones III bandwagon at 4 or 5. Him and Kanter seem like the most talented likely available at that point. Might as well go for it.

Not sure if this was posted. Interesting interview with Jonathan Givony about the top prospects.

Perry Jones reminds me of another Chris Bosh. He has all the talent in the world to become the next Kevin Garnett but just doesn't commit to being great. Some guys have it and some guys don't. I think Perry Jones could very well drop 24 & 12 averages in the NBA, but they would be empty stats.

There's no such thing as an empty 24 & 12 game.

I listened to that Givony podcast. Valanciunas sounds intriguing. 7'5" wingspan, rebounds a lot, and shoots 90% free throws. sounds intriguing.

and he offered an imortant reminder that Kanter has played very little basketball in 2 years. although those 2010 hoop summit highlight video definitely is quite tantalizing.

at this point I have no idea what we should do if we pick 4th and Irving Williams and Barnes are gone.

draft for need? Valanciunas? I don't want any part of Perry Jones.

Why is no one talking about Donatas Montiejunas?

I dont know either. Hes a great prospect. I hope we pick him up.

7. Donatas Motiejunas, C, International: After withdrawing his name from the 2010 draft, he has added 15 pounds of muscle to his 7-foot frame and blossomed into one of the best scoring big men in European basketball at age 20. He is comfortable with his back to the basket yet shoots a high percentage from the perimeter and gets to the FT line at an amazing rate. Best international prospect available.

My pick if irving and barnes are gone, would be p jones no doubt. I really like D will, but I had a question about him to all the posters over here. I havnt watched him play that much, but w.e I have seen I really liked him. Only thing is, what position would he play? I dunt think he can play the three. He is a natural 4 , unfortunately, he is too small for the power forward position in the NBA in my opinion... and since we dont really need another 4, we pick the next best three available: perry jones. Thoughts?

It would be funny if Donatas turned into the next Dirk and we didn't draft him out of fear of him being the next Bargnani.

That being said, I see why no one around here wants him - for many obvious reasons. But he does look like a good prospect for some other teams in need of a cheap jumpshooting big man.

And on defense, opponents will get excited when they think "should I dunk on Bargnani A or Bargnani B"?
