Game Thread: WAS @ CHA 4/3/11

Charlotte has won 4 of the last 5 and are now 1 game behind Indy in the loss column for the 8th seed. The Bobcats have won 10 of their last 12 against the Wizards including the last 5 in a row at home.

After a slow start (that lasted 72 games), the Wizards have finally hit their stride, winning 2 of their last 3. Friday, they served notice to the league that they're a team to be reckoned with after a decisive victory against the mighty Cleveland Cavaliers. The Wizards also happen to be on their longest road winning streak of the season (one game).

Charlotte has no chance.

This is a slam dunk, the Bobs MUST win-out if they are to catch Indiana and claim that last play-off spot, currently they are 2 games behind Indiana.

Edit:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Bobcats coach Paul Silas expects top scorer Stephen Jackson to miss his second straight game with a lingering left hamstring injury.

Jackson skipped Sunday morning's shootaround to get treatment. While Jackson has said he hoped to return Sunday night against Washington, Silas expects him to sit out. It would leave Charlotte with only nine healthy players as it enters the night two games behind Indiana for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Forward Tyrus Thomas, guard Shaun Livingston and forward Eduardo Najera remain sidelined. Thomas has pain in his surgically repaired left knee, Livingston has a bruised tailbone and Najera a sore back.

Silas says Dante Cunningham will start against the Wizards in Jackson's place

And they played Miami deep into the 4th before raining 3s and poor calls caught up to them.

Wizards reunion.

Bring on the Kwameman.

Plus we get to see some Livingston and McGuire

The announcers. They were talking about all those offensive rebounds and how amazing that was.

Anyways, I'm excited to see the boys play.

Wall is back.
Craw is the Craw
McGee and Dray coming off good games. I want to see more drop steps from McGee
I want to see if Jeffers can bring it again.

So no Nick again ?

Awwww. McGee with the walk and dunk baseline move.

This reminds me of how they used to feed Haywood to start the game.

I've set the over/under at 33... for the number of shots Jordan Crawford will take.
