Yeah, I'm sure any coach trying various lineups to see what works is a clown.
Moderators: Dirk, HMFFL, Mavrelous

Considering Stevenson missed 2 threes, Cardinal missed a three and Mahinmi missed 2 FTs over the last 4 mins, the Mavs could have easily brought that game alot closer.

I don't know why you mention 5:03 and then go to 4 minute mark unless you want to hide Dirk's miss. Oh, And Ian missed ONE free throw.

Not saying that Roddy scoring or making assist is enough, but to have multiple defenders chase him while several guys are open and the defense is left chasing is really missing when Kidd and Terry are on the court. Even when Roddy didn't penetrate, they had to defend him the same. THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN IF RODDY IS A SHOOTING GUARD!!!!

Frankly I do not see all those "Roddy can't play PG" thing. I think he plays PG just fine. Not like he's being asked to do too much. Hell even Kidd doesn't do anything in our offense, he just brings up the ball and then make some pass and then sit on the corner waiting for a kickout to shoot a 3. So I don't know what the fuss is about. At the beginning of his comeback, Carlisle already acknowledged that Roddy knows all of our playbook by head anyway. Plus Roddy's driving ability is very valuable comes the time when the set doesn't work out. So I really should think Roddy should just play PG. It would also negate any type of mismatch that we carry on the defensive end.

Well if Kidd is comfotable playing off the bench next season (like he has mentioned) then this may work. But Roddy needs to make smarter plays, before hes thrown in as the starting PG. Yes I agree he should get more mins at the position, but with Barea here, thats hard. Maybe Barea wont be here next season?

Reminds me of the defining play that got Avery fired. Not a good sign when Dirk does that...
