It's so ridiculous when people call Obama socialist. People get so caught up in political propaganda.

I mean, first off, being a socialist isn't like being some scary monster. Those people just have political beliefs that are different than ours. They don't want to take over our country and kill all the people. In fact, they are markedly more pacifist than any other political leaning.

Just because there were some brutal governments that were "socialist" doesn't mean that's what real socialism is today.

People who are so scared of that ideology are a joke. They are so consumed by fear and hate that project themselves as small people.

I am in no way a socialist, but, their ideology is nothing to be scared of.

Also, do some research about what socialists think of Obama. They don't like him either.

I am currently living with a guy in this program I'm doing that is a hardcore socialist. He's doesn't want to burn the public at the stake. He's just the opposite. He's out at every humanitarian protest there is in Washington DC marching and holding up signs to protect human rights. In fact, one of the strongest pillars of American socialists is their undying loyalty to full human and civil rights.

You can seriously never say anything humanitarian enough to this guy. About Libya all he can talk about are the innocent people who have been killed by the strikes. Mention any controversy and he just launches off into tangents about how the common man was wronged in that situation.

Lol, he is definitely not somebody to be afraid of.

That is definitely true.

But that makes it even more ridiculous. It's usually the right who calls the left communist, as if it is the worst thing in the world.

However, conservative policies are really more communist than liberal, when you break them down into theory.

A pillar of communism is continuing class revolution. This comes from heightened disparities in wealth among the classes.

So really, social programs and lower taxes on lower earning families advocated by the left are anti-communist. While conservative policies that widen the gap between the classes support communist theory.
