But a little realisticism (Is that a word?) would be nice. He's not an easy player to grade, because his role has been kept small - He's had a Batman as a teammate, and he's only been asked to be Robin or Alfred. And he's not a type A personality. We'll have to see how he develops without Walker to really tell what kind of NBA player he's likely to be.
not every top prospect has to be an alpha male or batman.
he's shown that he knows how to play in a system and play off others which is what he'll likely do at the next level.
You're either missing or ignoring my point - which is we don't know what kind of player he's going to be. For all we know, he may become that type A guy if that opportunity presents itself. Cammo makes an interesting point - which I'm not sure whether I agree or disagree with.
no, i know what you're saying. we dont know how he'll turn out, but what we can do is take what we've seen from him and project. right now he projects to be a good off the ball scorer who moves well, can make shots from all over the floor and make sound decisions.
i think he'll project to be something similar at the next level. if he adds more to his game thats a bonus.
isnt a projecting one of the more "fun" things to do on the nbadraft board? its not like we're working with a blank slate here. i've seen lamb play and i like his potential as an off the ball scorer.
i too dont think he has the temperament to be the man, but thats fine. very few players at the next level are truly good at being "the man." i'd like to see more lambs in the league.
