I like to think of this as the beginning to the NBA's next legendary rivalry!

OKC will be looking for revenge, so It'll be tough...Ibaka, Perkins and Nazr all gave our front line issues in the last game, and you can be sure Westbrook isn't going to have another 1/12 night.

Vinny has recently gotten on some of our players for the incessant complaining to the refs (i.e. Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon). They were taking plays off on the defensive end and losing focus. Blake responded well to the challenge, while EJ didn't do so well. Gordon was benched for the final 15 minutes or so against the Grizzlies, due to his attitude/behavior. As a result, I'm interested in seeing how he responds tonight.

We all know that our guys don't typically get their fair share of calls (which has been the case for years), but you can't allow it to get out of the game mentally. You have to keep playing hard despite how the officiating is. The stares, gestures and pleas only make the refs less likely to make a call in your favor.

I have noticed that EJ has been complaining a lot since he has come back. I can't blame him for being upset, but complaining to the refs will do no good. The best thing to do is to try to play through it. EJ doesn't want to get a reputation of being a whiner.

And you don't want to set a bad example for the young players. It's kind of like Kaman is the only player still around from the playoff team, but he's also been on quite a few losing/horrible teams. In past interviews, he would always be pessimistic, which was not something that the team would have needed to bring forward. Blake has kind of changed his tune, which is good. The team is not going to do anything if they are already (mentally) defeated once they step onto the court.

Good opening quarter, too bad Durant had to hit that shot at the end. We are up 31-26

Well, both Durant and Westbrook look like they won't be having repeat bad performances against us.
