Much love to that randolph guy for being a knick fan and winning some awards. But all that music he got there sounds the same to me. And makes me feel the same. Irritated.

Crazy how two people can like completely different music. Ha I love good Hip Hop and acoustic sh*t as much as anybody... but rock and metal will always be my babies. Nothing gets the blood pumping like a sweet riff or solo. You talk about stuff sounding the same, its hip hop. IDK I think Robert Randolph is pretty original. Never heard the instrument he plays before. Pretty cool to me.

It's not surprising though. In the mid 90s LA was plagued with gang violence which created a heightened sense of resentment and indifference to the mostly caucasian police dept. To them all they knew about rap was "Cop Killer" and Gangsa Rap that promoted violence so its no shock that they wouldn't go out of there way to really care about this.
