Who you like in MMA? My guy is GSP and Jon Jones(I was in his camp before he fought Matt Hamil).

Lucky man, mma is a pure sport, maybe one of the last where you can't faint heart, or you'll get knocked the **** out.

These guys are really good, but i got mad respect for Velazquez too cuz, unlike these 2, he dominates without having any special physical advatage. A lil bit like Fedor used too. True Warrior.

Valazquez has great endurance. For a big guy he just keeps on coming. I can't wait till the GSP vs. Silva match happens in late December.

Nope, this is just more goalpost-moving and covering of asses. First it was Spo conveniently throwing out "pages of offense" before the season, now this joke of an excuse.

However, I still think we can the title if the Big 3 play at least 40 minutes every playoff game, with Wade and LeBron staying dialed in on defense and Bosh attacking the basket on offense. That can cover up any coaching or bench deficiencies, and hopefully Spo can use the offseason to learn offense.

Why is Dampier Inactive for the Celtics Game?

MIAMI -- Heat center Erick Dampier is inactive for Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics.

Dampier had started 22 straight games for Miami before not getting any time in Friday's win over Charlotte, when Zydrunas Ilgauskas was a late switch to starter.

The Heat are 36-15 when Dampier plays this season. He's averaging 2.5 points and 3.5 rebounds for Miami.

I have been reading most of the year that we need player x over player y in any particular game or play, I've even gotten caught up with wanting House or JJ in for 3's...BUT

The situation that this team is facing is, we have a certain way that this coach wants to play, with certain guys, based on his analysis and it doesn't matter who's in. I really would want House to play last night at least against the zone = BUT, we had miller in and how many intentional shot attempts did we give him.

See, not to over analyze or over think the situation - but I don't think our coach notices, appreciates or values what we have as an offensive team. He only makes comments in details about the defense - it's almost like "if you play great defense" the offense will take care of itself, that's why we do the exact same thing on offense.

Miami - After each made basket by Dallas instead of quickly inbounding the ball, we have bosh or whoever, casually taking his time inbounding the pass

Dallas - After every made basket, Dallas is cross the line within about 5 seconds - I watch this stuff

Miami - If Chalmers or Bibby brings the ball up, Most possessions start in the left hand corner - WHY?
Dallas - Most possessions start closer to the top of the key or in a variety of places

Miami - On defense - no matter who is in the game - Joel/UD or anyone else - we play the same type of defense - we wait in a half court area for Dallas to come to them, instead of adjusting
Dallas - Plays a vareity of man and zone defenses

Coachspeak - After the loss in game 2 and the last nights game 4 loss, just close your eyes and listen to both pressers from our coach - he is saying basically the same thing -

If Lebron James just hits his average - we win - if we get one more player to hit one more shot(shot attempts) - we win - If we play just 3 seconds quicker - we have a chance to win(more time on the clock and room for errors)

After game 2, i did not listen to sports radio or watch sports until Game 3, but today, I'm taking it all in, everything - if you don't know why you're getting your azz kicked, you can't make a reasonable adjustment, you tend to resort to just playing harder

This is exactly why I do not rely or make my comments based on stats - our excuse after the game is that 'we always respond" that's saying what we usually do - not what we actually do. I am not mad about last night, I am actually glad in a sadistic way because it puts the spotlight on the Coach and Lebron.

The coach is hoping that Lebron, not the team can turn it around - after that game 2 melt down, Lebron has not been the same on offense - he's tentative and are forcing the issue and at least should have the basketball awareness to know that "if your shot is not falling" you do something else offensively to get to the foul line" to get yourself on track.

RC is playing Dirk smart - he is killing us in the 4th qtr, not the others, Miami is over playing Lebron James

I feel like he no longer trusts his jumpshot and doesn't bother to take it to the rim because he feels it's a lot easier to create open opportunities.

That kind of mentality will get us nowhere, he needs to drop 26+ like he's used to and realize that the right passes will come at the right time.

Check the shot attempts for both teams, i can guarantee you they had at least 8-10 more than we had.

Right now it seems like Dallas is listing to 2pac before the game and Miami is listing to New Edition.

TELL ME ABOUT IT.

I have no TV since I just got a new apartment, so I've had to watch all the games at the local bars, and I've been the lone Heat fan no matter which one I go to. Oh, and I live in NORTH CAROLINA, so that just says to me how much people hate on us for NO REASON..... I guess posting on the GB has prepared me for that though, so I don't really care.

I have had enough Lebron talk, as gifted as he is, this just shows how much more has to learn and grow
