Holy mother of ef K god...he's got a ridiculous behind the back move, splitting btw' two defenders move, the shooting and the passing skills! His skill-set sounds familiar...you know who he reminds me of...? The Next Kyrie Irving!!!! 8-)

Yeah the kid is sick. If he pulled those moves against me, I'd probably foul him mad forgetting he's just a kid.

Like many of you I've only seen Enes play at the hoop summit, well here's another set of highlights from the pangos spring league, not sure how many people have seen this.

I'd rather draft Harrison Barnes, don't want Perry Jones at all he's a Jonathan Bender clone!

I understand why people are afraid of PJ III. But I'd still take a chance on him. Considering lack of star talent.

Bender had skillset to be an all-star in the league. Injuries destroyed his career.

Well, I think people are afraid because the chances of him doing absolutely nothing vs. something are roughly equal, and if he doesn't defend or get defensive rebounds(which he hasn't yet chosen to do), in addition to score then the "something" he promises still might not be enough.

He'd have to be a great offensive player to be a plus player, and a lot of things need to come together for that to happen... he doesn't shoot threes, make free throws, his AST/TO is poor and he scored 14 per last year in 34 minutes. And, while I don't watch much non-conference ball, when I did watch Baylor this year I forgot Jones was on the floor on more than a couple occasions. Once I was waiting for him to come in, then he checked out. I don't care if you're out of position, the NCAA sucks and if you're a star you should shine.

I think there's a great chance of him being a frustrating, permanent potential player like Charlie V/AntRand/Blatche, a 4 who wants to play like a 3 on one end and like a zombie on the other. If you don't hustle when you're young, you never do.

All that said, I'd take him about #5 this year among the NA prospects :(. I'd intend to trade him if I took him, somebody will want him... but if Bargs goes and there's no good deal for PJIII then I can live with one unilateral big with a girly name. Half the GMs/coaches in the league will always think they can get something out of him and his physical tools.

Am I the only one who thinks Jan Vesely has all-star talent and potential and nobody's talking about it because he's Euro? I think he's the forgotten man who should be in the mix for our pick.

A poster in the draft forum said a little while ago that one of these years, the Euro dam is going to break - Teams are getting so afraid of the Euro bust that they'll take it too far and miss someone like Dirk. He thought Valanciunas could be that surprise, I don't - But Vesely could.

I think he's also a relatively low risk pick, because worse case scenario he's an athletic and epic long SF who plays like a maniac, which for defensive purposes can fit on almost any team
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

How many games have you seen with Vesely in them, and which ones?

Yeah, Vesely could be really good. I think he could be a nightmare at PF, with his ability to run the floor and stretch it out to the 3 - Amar'e and Bosh are not going to want any part of that.

The question mark is his defence, which I think could make him a SF, because he's fairly thin to defend an Amar'e or Boozer.

I've never seen him play. Only high lights. Not enough for me to give an opinion.

Vesely is essentially PJ sans the skillset, but an above average motor. Awesome specimen, for sure, but his offensive game is restricted to long range bombs and dunks - nothing in between. At this point, I'd claim Ajinca has better handles. Similarly to PJ, there are questions surrounding his position defensively. I've read he's slow on the perimeter due to his size, and weak in the paint due to a lack of size. An unskilled energetic tweener doesn't intrigue me top 5. But I'll wait until the workouts to cast judgement.

I'm not sure how valid your assessment of Vesely is (no offense), but if I were to follow it I would take Perry Jones with his lack of heart any day. I mean, guys like Lamar Odom prove guys with no motor can be successful in the league, just as long as they're the 4th or 5th options, but nothing more.

Bismack Biyombo, aside from having the best name of any prospect, is turning heads at the summit. Athletic, extremely long, and seems fairly intelligent - speaks five languages. Could work his way into the lottery. Here's a video of him at the summit.

It looks like Childress' afro pick is getting revenge in a Horror movie.

This article, submitted to SI a month ago by Jonathan Givony(DX) makes Vesely sound interesting.
