4 picks.....just gotta roll the dice and see if we don't crap out. Maybe we find a stud 1 and a dog at the 5 spot.

What do you guys think about Reggie Jackson form Boston College? Could he be available in the 2nd Round? He has good height, atleticism, and defense and is becoming a better shooter. Hopefully we draft a PG with one of our four 2nd round picks.

Lakers would sell the pick for cash.

I'd be happy if we drafted those guys on draft night. We need a PG and Mack would be a great fit and we could use some young bigs to replace Ratliff and Smith, and Benson and Tyler would be huge steals.

Well if you've either read this topic or the NCAA draft thread then you know how I feel about Keith Benson. The guy is a stud and I'd absolutely love for him to end up here. And we'd get Mack too, thats not bad I suppose but I'm hoping Tu Holloway declares he'd be a much better pick than Mack imo. I'm fine with either one.

thats weird though, when you look at Benson profile it says he has pulled out of the draft...but anways for those who seen him play, who does he remind you off? Anything like our old buddy turiaf interms of energy/block shots?

Hmmm idk but I know that he was slated for last years draft but pulled out at the last minute, so maybe thats what it's referring to. Benson is a defensive force and has tremendous instincts, he's a great shot blocker but he's not a high energy player like Turiaf. His offense and defense suffer at times because he's so weak in terms of muscle mass that he can get pushed around from time to time. He's more of a finesse player than a banger and he has to do a better job of defending players that are more physical than him, I know that sounds like Pau 2.0 but don't be mistaken he's not a pussy. Now he did play in a weaker division than most NBA prospects go to but that shouldn't deter from picking him.

His current skill set really makes him a 1st rounder but because he's so weak and because of his age (he'll be 24-25 before he can truly begin to make an impact) he'll probably be selected in the 2nd round. All he needs is to sharpen his offensive skills and gain weight and he could very well be the steal of the draft. This may be high praises as of right now, but I believe that Benson's ceiling is a poor man's LaMarcus Aldridge.

A front court of either Benson/Bynum or Benson/Howard ensures that our paint remains scuff free.
