Phillies lead 3-0 in middle of 2nd inning, bunch of bloop hits, a grounder that hit 2b and went into outfield and an error on Braves. Not looking good with Lee on the mound and a 3-0 lead. :nonono:

Braves score 3 runs on 4 hits in the 3rd inning to tie the game at 3. Heyward lead off the 3rd inning with a triple, Alex followed with an rbi dbl, Freeman singled(runners at corners), Prado hit an rbi ground rule dbl(runners at corners), and a sac rbi ground out from Nate before inning ended on a Chipper grounded out.

Braves score 3 runs in the 4th to take a 6-3 lead and send Lee to the dugout, Franklin in to pitch. Freeman leads off the inning, HBP, Prado singled(runners at 2b & 1b), Nate singled(bases loaded) Chipper hits a 3 run dbl that bounced off Victorino's glove.

Chipper Jones singled in the 6th, giving him 2,500 career hits.

I just realized that Chipper got his 2,500th hit on the same date Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruth's home run record. Pretty cool. Congrats Chipper.

Braves down 8-2 headed to the 8th. Freeman with an rbi single in 3rd inning and after a Beach sac bunt to get Freeman to 2b, Prado hit a single, Freeman scored on bobbled ball by Francisco.

Francisco had an rbi single in 1st inn, Schneider with a 2 run hr in the 4th, Ruiz GS off Linebrink in the 7th, Howard with an rbi dbl off Linebrink in 7th.

All together solid game from Beachy, Braves were down 3-2 when Sherrill came in followed by Linebrink. Both had bad innings out of the pen, Sherrill loaded the bases up, Linebrink gave up GS.

Braves lose 3-0, lose the series 2-1. Lack of run support the story of this young season. Braves starters getting 2.1 runs per game in support. :nonono:

I missed this series since I was out of the country. I hoped for better results, but Philly is more dominate in most areas, so I hope for better results the next time we face them. Philly should sweep their next series against Washington, so we better show up against the Marlins.
