Kobe's FG%

Post#1 » by doctordrizzay » Sat Apr 9, 2011 6:53 am

Am I the only one who notices Kobe's FG%? I mean tonight he was 10-25 and the other night he was 10-27...etc

I mean Im a pure Laker fan so even I will criticize Kobe....Which to most of you is like criticizing Jesus or God himself. But I mean come on Kobe misses alot of shots...I mean ALOT. It pisses me off that Lebron scores over 50% for this season and the last and Kobe to me our savior has never had a season like that. Especially when the past few games are the most important, he just does not deliver, at all.

Kobe is right on par with his career average. Which is pretty impressive considering the injuries we know about and the ones we dont

Kobe is a guy who can score 6-24 in a finals game 7 and be called MVP. Which to me is unbelievable, like that is beyond FIXED. I love our team but Kobe is all hollywood,

what do you expect all kobe shots are peremiter jumpers after no ball movement and a hand in his face. no worries im sure kobes taking notes, so lets just wait and see his performance in the playoffs before we completely throw the book at him

Yea let's not talk about the finals but Kobe has been incredibly inefficient recently. And you can't blame it on his hand or any other BS if you watch the Lakers actually play. He's taking more and more horrible shots every game. I don't understand this **** at all. Maybe he's really bored and wants to take the toughest shots he can. I don't know.

Tonight, whenever Kobe was in the game was when our offense was at a lull and when we couldn't do ****.

True. But you are missing the point. Keep the focus soley on his fg%. And there is no denying he is not an efficient scorer.

Kobes field goal % is bad. Straight up. Bad.

Fantasy basketball player for 8 years. Drafted Kobe my first year and never again. Gasol on the other hand I would take anytime.

I have always questioned his shot selection. It's either "DON'T SHOOT IT..." *swish* "WOOO!! KOBE!!!" or "DON'T SHOOT IT.." *brick* "DAMNIT KOBE!" Kobe can get much easier shots, but he forces bad ones, a lot. I don't understand why... but it's something we have to live it. He's not going to change that.

What I would have him do is to post up more though, as he's very efficient when he has his back to the basket.

It's the Final's MVP, not the Game 7 MVP. He also grabbed 17 boards that game which lead to more opportunities for the Lakers to score and get back into the game.

pshhh, this guy. his posts off the miami heat board.

I dunno about Curry he seems like a HUGE waste of space...pun intended.

I'm hoping we can get Nene in the off-season but Nuggets are doing so well he might stay with them.

Oh yesss! I am praying we can get Greg Oden, I'd rather have him more than anything he's still very young and has great potential. I don't care if his knee needs micro fracture surgery. Amare had it, and he's playing the best basketball of his career. We get him it would be a goldmine, because we have very little chance of getting him Very little.

I just remember when Mike scored 31 points with Wade out and hit like 6 3's in the first quarter.

He def needs more nights like those. But Its hard for our supporting cast to score when our big 3 demand the ball.

off knicks board in a top floppers thread:

Kobe to me should be in top 3 at least. The guy cries after every missed shot.

off cavs board after the cavs beat his miami heat:

You know your having a historically bad season when... out of pity Fans of other teams come in and congratulate you on winning a regular-season game.

on our board asking about who the biggest threat is
Biggest Threat is Miami...hands down. We can beat boston in a 7 game series but the heat have our #. Lebron has beaten Kobe 9 times out of the last 10 games

this guy ain't fooling anyone.

if any non-troll wants to talk about kobe's fg% in a legitimate way, feel free to do so in a new thread.
