Can anyone comment on DWill's handles? From the games and highlights I've seen of him, I'm under the impression that they're ok, but not on the same level as a guy like Perry Jones.

I can't front like I'm an expert, but his creation ability makes me think they're pretty good but can still use work for him to be extremely effective at the NBA level.

He has excellent handles, can create penetration whenever he wants to against PFs. Perry Jones actually has pretty weak handles, didn't score on almost any of the ball handling attempts he had last season, he's extremely out of control when driving to the basket.

The idea is to use him as a 3 and go big with a Williams/Davis/Shiny New Centre

PJ3 has to be scouting interest #1 for our expected draft position (4.5 or so?). you know he's going to shine in workouts, having had so much time to focus on the draft and his impressive physical attributes, but it looks like he could very well be on the board when we pick. He is the swing-for-the-fences pick that potentially gives us elite level athleticism.
Just how quick is he? Sounds like he's fast as hell going north/south but are his lateral quicks as impressive? If he's as good an athlete as he seems to be, I think Colangelo, who covets athleticism more than people think, will be drooling over the mismatch potential. the ball skills are there as well, even if in rudimentary form.
remember, this pick does not need to blow it out of the water as a rookie. with the lockout and our playing style, we can afford to take a somewhat raw prospect and develop him internally.
it's crazy to think about how athletic and unorthodox some of these teams would be:
Bayless
DD
PJ3
AB
Davis
Barbosa
DD
JJ
PJ3
Ajinca
Bayless
Barbosa
DD
PJ3
Amir
Those might not be playoff rotations next season but the shortened season is the optimal time to go with young, athletic development squad. there's no rush.
maybe it will be PJ that gets nabbed early and Williams falls. that would work in a similar manner, giving you a ridiculously athletic frontcourt, though likely more immediate returns.

With D-will's crazy hop and attitude, there's still chance he can be a "star" even he can't play 3.

Best part of this is having a great shot at Irving or Williams. Diff between 3rd, 4th, and 5th is minimal to me. But the gap of getting one of those 2 is huge.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

If I'm not mistaken, they'll be showing it again later, and it might be on VOD later
