This is the kind of game where the lakers come out strong and blows a team out by like 15-20. I expect a convincing win. To add, with perkins talking trash, and with 3/4 of the league thinking OKC can put the lakers out in the playoffs, lakers should be looking to make a statement tonight.

atleast the lakers wont blame the early game schedule if they were to lose, but in all seriousness this team better "flip the switch" in tonites game. No question the thunder are a legitimate threat to us so i expect these lakers to be sharp and on point. (im looking at you kobe bryant)

We seriously need to make a statement here tonight. A loss here tonight would give the Thunder confidence. The last thing the Lakers need is for the Thunder to feel confident about beating the Lakers if they face off in the playoffs. Our size difference might not be what it once was against these guys but we need to exploit that advantage we do have against them. Thabo has defended Kobe well in the past so the less Kobe ball the better. If our bigs go to work against Perkins it will give them a mental advantage.

at least it isn't an early game, those are guaranteed low effort performances by the lakers.

Just FYI:

there's a courtside cam at the staples right now showing the players warm-up for those who are interested. Derek Fisher is shooting right now, he hasnt missed yet and took about 100 shots.

Uh Oh.....Tahiry as our gamethread girl? There's no way we can lose this game. But seriously stop the landslide and get the much needed win. These next two games are extremely important and vital if we plan on staying the 2 seed. Kobe needs to realize Rose has got the MVP award on lock, and stop trying to go out and give heroic performances. Play within the offense. Win tonight. Beat San Antoino on Tuesday.
