Volquez gave up 2 runs in the 1st inning, but then he pitched alright the rest of the way. In all 3 of his starts he has struggled in the 1st inning, but then settled down and pitched an okay game. The Reds have been lucky so far in his starts, but eventually his poor first innings will bite them in the butt.

Reds won 3-2 and improved to 7-3 on the season.

Game 2: Lecure pitched 6 solid innings, the game went into extra innings and in the 11th inning the Reds bats came alive, the scored 6 runs in the top of the 11th to win the 8-2, this makes 3 series out of 4 that the Reds have won so far this season, and they get a chance to sweep another series tomorrow.

Game 3: 6:35 pm et

Masset blows another game for the Reds, I believe this is the 3rd game that he has lost this season. He might be a set up man someday, but he isn't that guy yet. He has a great heater, but he falls in love with that 12 to 6 curve that he can't locate. Wake up Dusty and stop giving this guy the ball at the end of games.
