its not about the playoffs its about the pick swap. i usually dont keep up w/ trades outside of players, but there is some kind of a pick swap option we have with new york, only works if they have a worse record? even if it's one pick up i want it. we need all the help we can get. this draft could be hindered with the lockout looming ahead

But with them in the playoffs, they automatically miss the lottery.

oh ya duh lol . well we can end up w/ an extra win or 2 more than last season. maybe one extra win will raise the eyebrows of all the free agents. "they didnt win 42 games, they won 43. hmm... i'm going to houston" :D

No Thabeet again. I bet Morey is pissed.

I don't understand why Morey would be pissed that Thabeet didn't play.
If Morey wants Thabeet to play he could tell Adelman to do so, however obviously choose not to.
Morey has often stated that he belives in players earning their minutes. What has Thabeet done that makes you think he's earned the right to play?
The fact that he was called up means nothing regarding playing time. If anything it reflects badly on Thabeet that the Rockets would call him up in the middle of a playoff series and replace him with Marcus Cousin.

Adelman's day were long numbered. Not playing Thabeet won't have anything to do with not brining him back.

Morey's contract runs through 2012-2013 and only a fool would not bring him back.

this is not about not playing thabeet
our season already over
we have 2 injured starters
need a guard but went and recall our 4th center from d-league and sign another center
how about 10-day contract pg?
he play only 7-men
imo he's trying to get a win to move him to #7 spot on all time winning coach

oops didn't know morey signed a 2 years extension

.

This isn't about Thabeet earning playing time. It's about whether or not Morey will pick up his player option in a few months. No Summer League. Maybe no Preseason. It would just be nice to see what he could do on this team other than the 4 minutes that Adelman let him play, especially since we gave up the team's captain to get him.

I refuse to believe that one or two games would have made a difference in that desicion.

Thabeet sucks. Plain and simple.

He can't be that much worse than Miller right now, even with his 3 pointers.
I'm not just talking about the last 2 games but since the trade happened.
and once they were eliminated from the playoffs then Thabeet should have been given a chance.
