Why would anyone want him?

Put him in the minors, let him try and work his way up. I'd rather have a young minor league pitcher in than Dice K

You'd be wasting your time and money doing that. The guy has been in the league for four full seasons and he has proved absolutely nothing besides the fact that he has terrible control, shaky velocity and no stamina. Even though he's only 31, he's way past the 'We can fix this' stage of his career.

This. Sadly, this doesn't look like something that can be fixed. It appears that Dice K lacks the physical tools needed to fix his problems.

Ya, the guys horrible and grossly overpaid. The Sox are going to have a really tough time getting rid of him.

This season is so painful. I've watched every game and watching anyone pitch not named Lester or Beckett is like getting teeth pulled. The offense will come around I'm not worried but 2-9 is atrocious.

EDIT Papelbon has been good this year in the maybe 2 times he's appeared lol.

He had a couple of really good starts at the end of April. He one hit the Blue Jays and 2 hit the Angels I think. He's a #5 starter and will continue to pitch. He's not asked to be a #1 a #2 or #3. While he isn't amazing Red Sox don't have many other options besides Wakefield who is already spot starting for Lackey now that he's on the DL.
