Q. Who leads the Atlanta Hawks in most technicals?

A. Of course, everyone would say it is Josh Smith and that is true. Did you realize that Josh Smith has only 7 technicals over the course of the season? There are 20 players in the NBA with more. To put it in perspective Josh has the same number of technicals as Steve Nash, Lebron James, Zydrunas Ilgaulskas, Chris Paul, Monta Ellis, John Wall, Gerald Wallace, and Tyson Chandler. I bring this up to show that he's not nearly the loose cannon he appears to be. He might just look that way because of how chilled so many of the Hawks are. By comparison Josh and Zaza (6 technicals) look almost unstable, but in the grand scheme of things aren't much outside the norm for an NBA player.

Josh tends to not make eye contact with the refs, so it allows him to not get called for them as often, but this was different during the past. He use to make it a point to get right up to the ref and make eye contact.

often when Josh is aggressive, he gets hacked with getting a foul call. so he gets upset, especially when he gets fouls called on him with less contact on the other end.

Yeah...the easiest way to get a tech is yell at the official while the play is going on(which Kobe does constantly) or get into a "altercation" with the other team(which DeMarcus Cousins does every time I watch them play).
