The 22 rebs is fantastic but the 5-17 is absolutely pathetic.

It was actually 5-19

That's a terrible shooting game for a guard...for a big man...you get the picture

Lets say we know absolutely nothing going into the playoffs. If we get to the finals and it happens to be the Spurs on the other side and lets just say they were invincible at home in the playoffs, there would be serious regret for not going all out in the regular season.

Hey guys get hurt on fluke plays. Anything can happen.

The fact that Noah is fine, no harm done. But the guy needs to get his wind back.

Brewer will be just fine since his main thing is playing defense anyway.

I realize the playoff scenario thoroughly. But I'm not real into that vs. the health of our players. I don't have a problem playing them, but Deng was at 44, Rose at 38, Boozer at 37 against an Amare-less Knicks...take the foot off the gas for a minute.

It sounds like that both Noah and Brewer are gonig to be fine.

Finishing tied or ahead of the Spurs is not meaningless. Keep the winning attitude is not meaningless. I for one like what Thibs is doing.

22 rebs is not hallow.

The rebounds were great. His activity level was great. His defense was even fine. But he was just utterly useless trying to score the ball. Getting blocked by Turiaf, fumbling the ball, not finishing...it wasn't pretty. He needs to do better.

We need to be firing on all cylinders. Everyone likes to wax poetic about teams turning on "the switch" come playoff time. Well you can't have it both ways...when our opponents show up..so must we.

Or this playoffs will be chalked up to nothing more than a learning experience.

People questioned Thibs about 2-3 months straight about Bogans starting...and he ended up being right. Give the guy a break.

Korver (as usual)

Do you have any stats or actual grounding argument when you say that Korver is not only awful but, the worst FA signing of the off-season? Or is it just unabashed hate?

It's the latter. Korver has done pretty much exactly what we brought him here to do and he plays his arse off whether his shot is falling or not. Tonight it wasn't. Happens.

Too much worrying about the health of our players. We're a young team. We'll be fine. It's more important that our confidence level and competitive edge remains high.

I don't think that is in Thibs DNA - maybe to a fault. I think that mentality has created the team we have now - so it's hard for me to fault him to playing that way until the end. Lets just pray there are no injuries tomorrow.
14 years is a nice run but it's time to end the Paxson era.

Will Give Boozer Credit where credit is due... His Boarding was EXCELLENT!!

Still a Concern w/Turnovers & his D, but Rebounding is On Point, Needs to continue

P.s. Encouraged by the 23 & 10 by Deng Vs Melo.. we Need Aggressive Deng in Playoffs

we should really emphasize posting boozer and feeding boozer for easy baskets tomorrow

The frustrating thing is that Boozer looks close to being his usual very dangerous offensive player self. He makes smart moves, creates room, but then just biffs the finish, or doesn't have enough lift and the guy recovers for the block without having to foul, or he just inexplicably loses the ball as he's making his move. In every case, he's close to having a high percentage shot, or gets one and misses it. But he's converting at a kind of scary-bad efficiency on too many nights. And his jumper has been totally unreliable throughout, which doesn't help.

The Bulls ball-movement has been getting more and more scary good as the post-all-star-break has progressed. This has really impressed me at times of late.

A couple of things from the game:

1. Half the Garden got up and cheered for both the Rose alley-oop and for his 1 on none dunk.

2. It felt really awesome to try starting MVP chants. Not sure if any were even remotely audible.. were not that many Bulls fans at the game (relative to previous times I've been)
Trade Wallace

(this worked for Skiles. Lets go for 2)

It was as meaningless as it gets.

I think the Spurs have a better chance than people think out West.

Not sure why everyone is crowning the Lakers when they've looked like such crap recently.

That's what I've been saying. They have the coach, the championship pedrigree, the veteran talent, some good young talent. I guess people don't pick the Spurs because they are not flashy. So yeah, this Lakers will walk through the West crap is perplexing. There is no guarantee the Lakers will even make the WCF, let alone the NBA Championship game.
