Grizzlies are actually going for 8th seat. That is why they rested players tonight and will rest even more Vs the Clippers tomorrow.
More likely they will rest the players since it's the Clips. Just that goin for the 8th spot vs. the Spurs isn't a smart move imo. The Spurs outmatch the Grizz from certain positions, experience, and bench production alone. The likely scenario if they were to meet would be a 4-1 or 4-2 scenario favoring the Spurs. I rather see the Grizz play a team where they have a fighting chance to win a series even if they go down fighting.
