2011 Suns Broadcast Team?

Post#1 » by Orange_Blooded » Tue Apr 12, 2011 1:52 am

Any word on who will be doing what next season with Bender's retirement and the move to FSN full time? I assume Leander will assume full time play-by play...

Jarred Dudley will be doing part of the play-by-play broadcast from the bench, and when he goes in the game, they will just switch it over to Gentrys mic, mmmmmmmmmmkkkkayyyyyyyy.

Anything is better than Bender. Bender was ROCK BOTTOM!

See, I can use the term "rock bottom" correctly. Unlike Leander, who apparently thinks that rock bottom is a great thing.

"Frye hits rock bottom for three!"

Huh? Everytime he says that I envision the player as a fat slob on a couch somewhere, drunk as he can be after just losing custody of his kids or something.

The only person I have a problem with is that dolt, Eddie Johnson.

Anyone who legitimately thinks Amar'e is better than Dirk, Deron Williams, Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Pau Gasol, Tim Duncan, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett and Derrick Rose.....Probably shouldn't have a job analyzing basketball games.

In a heartbeat! Those guys are great! I really don't like our broadcast team, i would rather watch the game muted.

Nothing beats Bender and Majerle, good times. the broadcasts went downhill once thunder became assistant coach.
I like Draft Picks/Cap Space, long walks on the beach, and short youtube clips.

Leander is terrible, full season of his lame catch phrases and bad voice will be unbearable.

Eddie Johnson and Tom Leander are legit most of the time, sounds like we got a lot of haters though. Id like to see some of you guys try that job out for size, then we can all bag on you on the forums here haha

What I like about EJ is that he tells it like it is and isn't afraid to say what everyone is thinking. Like when he criticises Frye for taking too many 3's or Lopez for not going up strong for a rebound or layup/dunk.

 That's why EJ is so mind-boggling...He knows Frye is being instructed to shoot 3's and that it's important for the offense that he shoots 3's...Yet he still harps on about it...smh

ABSOLUTELY Tom Leander should not be considered for the broadcast team. They should at least look at FREE FOR THREE other candidates who at least can say something worthwhile every once in a while. The NET RESULT is that we won't end up with a TISSUE SOFT announcer that none of us can stand listening to. Its time for the Suns organization to ELEVATE AND DETONATE and unleash the POWER AND FURY of its recruitment process in finding us someone who can do the Suns game broadcasts justice.

I know I'm BEGINNING TO PERCOLATE over here...

Ok, I'm out of Leander-isms, time to drink myself stupid enough to forget all these lame one-liners.

King of the thread, ladies and gentlemen. Well done.
