Oklahoma City Thunder vs Milwaukee Bucks 4/13

Post#1 » by fallacy » Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:05 pm

This game has some meaning, but most people won't care. The Thunder are really good and the Bucks are really bad.

Scott Brooks said that he will start all the starters but they will have very limited playing time. Cole Aldrich was just called up from the d-league so he'll probably get lots of playing time. Also, Andrew Bogut is out with an injury.

The only significance of this game is that we can move up to the 3 seed if we win tonight and Dallas loses against New Orleans. I personally want the 4 seed so we can beat down Denver but I won't be too mad if we get the 3 seed.

Go Thunder?

Are there any positive to playing the starters in this game?

Negatives:

1. Lakers are a tougher 2nd round matchup than the Spurs
2. Portland is a tougher 1st round matchup than the Nuggets
3. Durant or Westbrook could get injured
4. Anyone else could get injured or hurt

Positives:

1. Yay one more win?

For everyone going to the game the Thunder have said, "The Thunder is encouraging fans to be in their seats by the start of the National Anthem so you won’t miss “a special presentation marking a Thunder team achievement.” "

My guess is that we'll hang our division championship tonight. I wish I could be there for it, stupid work :(

Also, for everyone that is looking WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down the line, this has some other playoff stipulations. If we win tonight we guarantee that we would have homecourt over the celtics and every other team below them in the East.

We have the same record as the Celtics right now but we hold the tiebreaker over them because we have a much better record against the east than they do against the west. Also, if they lose tonight against the Knicks we lockup homecourt as well.

So if we win tonight we would have homecourt in the finals over every team other than the Bulls and the Heat

EDIT: We're 22-7 against the east, damn

That's just like, your opinion, man.

I'd rather play Portland and LA than Denver and San Antonio, personally. Denver is much better than Portland since the trade and I think we match up better against the Lakers than the Spurs.

his best matchup option. Would Bucks have interest in Nate? Can't wait to see Memphis win tonight to face the lakers.
