Same thing with Kanter. At least Biyombo played some games in the ACB this season.

Yeah, except Kanter is most definatly 18 years of age and he did better than Biyombo in the Hoops Summit, at 17, against a better interior defense.

Workouts and pre-draft measurements will really help determine the true talent in this draft.

Should be an exciting couple months leading to the draft.

Ummm, no. Kanter played a year of high school basketball at Findley Prep, where he absolutely dominated. He then became one of the top High School prospects in the country (rivals.com and scouts.com both had him at #3, behind only Barnes and Irving). And In both 2008 and 2009 he put up huge numbers at the FIBA U-18 tourneys (winning MVP in 2009). Kanter has done absolutely nothing other than dominate.

Why was nobody talking about Biyombo prior to the Hoops Summit? Because he isn't a good basketball player. He has done absolutely nothing.

Kanter played a grand total of zero games for Findley Prep. lol

Although Kanter was the third rated recruit by Rivals, it was behind Selby and Barnes, not Irving. As per scout, he was fifth behind Tobias Harris, Will Barton in addition to Irving and Barnes

*Stoneridge Prep.

Easily amused?

And according to the 2010 RSCI posted on DX (http://www.draftexpress.com/RSCI/2010/), scout.com has Kanter at #3.

"reportedly because other schools would not play against a team with Kanter on it" instead he played for stone ridge prep school for the 2009-10 season, where he emerged as the consensus No. 1 center by numerous recruiting sites.

As mentioned Kanter had lead In the 2009 FIBA Europe U18 Championships, he led his Turkish national team to a Bronze Medal, averaging 18.6 points and 16.4 rebounds.

no, I just find it laughable that you could make a claim that he dominated highschool basketball when you never saw him play highschool basketball.

If only he played for the Arizona Wildcats, then he'd be the next coming of Wilt, right?

The Arizona Wildcats would never seriously pursue a guy like Enes Kanter. Regardless, I have never said anything bad about him, I was just pointing out the mistakes made in that post. Furthermore, I have never suggested once on this forum that I wanted the raptors to draft Derrick Williams.

Played one year of high school ball at Stoneridge Prep in Simi Valley, California and was somewhat inconsistent …

Sounds like a domination to me. 6'10" 260lbs center vs high school kids.

Officially the 3rd worst record. BC should make a promise to Barnes through Ed somehow. 6th at the lowest? That's pretty good cash.

If he has good people around him he should already know he won't drop past 5, and that's if things go terribly wrong for him.

I think Roy Williams told him worse, 5th-11th. It could be a great bonding experience for Ed and BC.

The weird thing about Kanter in high school is that there's only like a 50 second clip of his time there. Every other top player has 5 minutes reels.

look how loud this draft thread is right now man, and ppl are steaming up on the arguments, i bet the draft thread will go moments of silence and mute once we drafted josh selby with the 3rd pick. Yup, 3rd pick of the decade!
