Bless Flip for having the courage to stick with it. I'd be keen to hear what he has to say in the press conference. Hopefully he's nice and oblique if any meddlesome reporters, you know, ask if we were tanking.

We are rebuilding. We needed to evaluate our prospects for next year. This may have been the last chance for some of these players with our team. We needed to give them that opportunity. They earned it.

OK - watched the Caps thrilling OT win instead of the end of this game. Then, took a long shower and had a beer. Feeling better about things.

Looking at that list of lottery winners - thanks whoever posted it - I'm really struck at how infrequently the absolute worst team - the team with the most lottery balls - won the lottery.
