You wanna trade with us? (56 wins in 3 seasons)

Larry Drew's coaching

The supposedly "motion offense"

Joe's elbow and other nagging injuries

lack of better depth

It's not that bad when you think about it. I predicted 48 wins(I think Vegas had them at 46?) I believe but didn't factor in how bad a coach Drew is and the continuity would be shaken up with the Bibby/Hinrich trade.

You have to consider the 2010 regular season perfect storm considering the starting 5 had played together for 3 straight years(Bibby 2 and a half),coached by someone who'd been in here for 6 years, and had the healthiest team in the East so our lack of depth was never tested.

With that said Drew had a more talented team in the 2008-2009 Hawks with less injuries and won less games...he's a terrible coach.

I expected around 47-48 myself, but I thought that was going to be the result of giving consistent minutes to more players to be fresh for the playoffs and develop so young players. We didn't get that development or greater use of depth, so I'm disappointed. IMO, Larry Drew has been a horrible disappointment as a coach. I split the blame between his coaching and the players' lack of discipline and consistency of effort.

The players got Woodson fired last year by giving up on him - after 7 years. They're giving up on Drew the same way, apparently deciding that he's no different.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Some reasons:

1. Coach. This team is so unprepared it's not even funny. You can't lose by 30 pts at home the way the Hawks have.
2. Lack of big men. The Hawks have no one to defend the paint or rebound.
3. Too many guards. Crawford is one-dimensional. Dude can't pass to save his life. JJ is a ball stoper. Hinrich hasn't been effective at all. Teague is the forgotten man.
4. Fowards. We gotta one that has no impact (Marvin). The other (J. Smith) has taken like 300 more jump shots this year.

... and we have to rely on a guy that avgs like 2ppg along with 2rpg, to not get swept again by the Magic... wow

That's what happens when you have really **** owners that rather waste money on Joe then good coaching.
